Parish Council - Suffolk
Easton is a small picturesque former estate village set in the heart of East Suffolk, at its centre it has a small village green, church, pub, village hall and serpentine boundary wall to Easton Park within which stood the former mansion (demolished in 1925), that has left its mark on the architecture within the village with a large number of attractive buildings remaining. This 'Estate Village' character derives from the ownership of Easton Park by Earls of Rochford and Dukes of Hamilton. Many houses exhibit the same 'Gothick' casement windows, and massive ornate brick chimney stacks. On this page further details of the history of Easton can be found.
